Builders Gate collects information from our users at several different points on our website including when you register with us, request information, or sign up for our newsletter. The information collected includes, but is not limited to, personal information such as name, mailing address, email address, phone and Real Estate License Number. Builders Gate is the sole owner of the information collected on our websites.  Builders Gate will only share your information in the following manor;

1. Builders Gate will be advertising to consumers, allowing them to search limited information on the site.  Consumers will then be able to search for Subscribed, Lic. Real Estate Agents within the area they are interested in looking.  At this point your Name, Company Name, Company Address, Phone Numbers and E-mail address may be shared with the consumer. 

2. Your contact information will be placed on client flyers you choose to print as well as the “Client View” screen. 

3. Your User Id and or Name will show on any posts or replys you make in the forums. Also any infomation you place in the forums will be viewable to all subscribed agents.

Like many Web sites on the Internet, we automatically track certain information about you as you visit and use our Website to help us to better understand how the Website is being used and how we can enhance your overall experience on the Website and improve the information, Site functionality, products and services that we (and our advertisers and partners) provide to you. The Personal Information you provide when you become a registered user or subscribed customer of the Site is used primarily to help us customize your online experience, increase the convenience of accessing new tools, products and services, and, if applicable, provide the products and/or services you purchase. This Personal Information may be used to make your use of the Site more convenient by, for example, limiting the number of times you have to register with us. Your email address serves as a unique identifier in our record system, and it is used together with your password to prevent unauthorized access to any information you choose to store on the Sites. Security

This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.  Builders Gate does not collect, store, or have access to you credit card information.  All transactions are done through Paypal, one of the best and safest ways to pay online. When you subscribe to our site, you will be sent an e-mail to complete your payment with Paypal.  Paypal does require you to register with them (Free) so that your subscription payments can be made each month or year.  While on a secure page, such as the Paypal payment form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'.  

We do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Unless you register with us, or complete an information or brochure request from, usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. We also use IP addresses to track log in attempts for security purposes to protect you and your password.

From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys are completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information.
